Well I don't have any pics from that night out. A friend of Matt's took some but I haven't received them yet. If I do I'll add then. Cause it was a crazy fun night. Matt's friends are really cool and as Devin is the only one I can remember the name I have my work cut out of me. I''m so bad with names.
Well this first picture is Toby, matt's crazy huge dog. He's a really good dog but when you first meet him he pretty much attacks you. He's just playing and happy to see you but talk about biting. The second picture if Matt taking him out for a walk before we left for the day. Not sure if you can see it but Toby unleashed his Demoralizing Roar at some guy walking by. He reminds me so much of Morgan. She would bark at pretty much anyone walking by the apt even if she's seen them a million times before. Nice missing Morgan. Best Dog EVER!Well after getting that all done we headed off for the train to downtown. I'm not much of a picture taker so I didn't want to look like a retarded tourist so I just kept it to myself. But it was a fun right. It probably sounds like I'm the biggest dork in the world but the train ride was awesome. Just the fact that their transportation system is so much better than anything Oklahoma has just makes it fun. Didn't see any bums or crazy people which would have been interesting but just fun since its something you don't get to do...ever...here.
Well we got downtown and headed to Gino's to have Chicago style pizza. Downtown was pretty much full of people since it was a Saturday and probably the first day in a long time that it wasn't snowing or below freezing. The wait wasn't to bad but if we got there later closer to lunch time it might have been. We got out of the cold and sat down inside waiting for our table. It took about an hour to get the pizza but it was very good. Nothing like what I've had in Oklahoma that's for sure. I guess you can write on the walls cause it was everywhere with peoples names and dates of when they were there but since I didn't have a sharpie I had to just look at this.
Well after lunch we headed down toward Millennium Park. The only real thing to say besides it was fun is just this picture to show how cold it had been in Chicago. Whenever a body of water can freeze over I'm pretty much sure that its been really cold for a long time. Oh and the gay Ice sculpture sitting outside.
Then these two pictures of of the Amphitheater and this Earth thing that you could walk underneath and it made you really dizzy because it well just believe me it did make my stomach turn. But a cool picture from outside of it.
Then our last stop before heading home was the fountain that's on Married with Children. Forgot the name of it but I don't want to Google it so anyway. The second picture Matt loves I'm not to big on it cause I look funny. But oh well I am a funny looking guy I guess.
Well that was pretty much the end of the outing that day. We took a cab back to the Hancock building cause we wanted to end the day with a martini in the observation lounge but the line was crazy long. So we just ended up going across the street to buy a scarf (I have a few new things from the trip for the cold weather but nice its like 70s here in Oklahoma) and then taking the bus back home.
The rest of the night ended up being dinner at this restaurant close by and then meeting up with Matt's friends for the rest of the night. Sunday ended up being indoor watching episodes of ROME and Little Miss Sunshine. It was a great trip and I don't know if I can make another before I move but I am so excited about moving. Now I just need to save more money and find a job. Alright that's it for now. Cheers and Thanks a Lot!
