Around the World in Google Earth!

Okay, so Google Earth is so freaking awesome. I love how you can pretty much go anywhere in the world and look around. Like you are God or something. So today I started looking at my new soon to be home. Chicago!

First we start at a picture of where I live now. Wonderful (Not really) Apple Creek Apartments. I like the fact that you can see where they were still building the Super Target across the highway. Wish they would update their images but I guess Norman really isn't a priority.

Yeah the picture really isn't the best but..oh well deal with it.

Then its off to show the distance between my two homes. Just looking at this picture makes me excited about the fact that I'm moving. I plan on going up for a visit next month to get a feel for it. Who knows maybe I'll just stay up there and not come back. Yeah the job would love that.

Then here is the last picture of the new digs. Yeah its google earth but when I visit I'll have pictures of the new place. I'll only be blocks away from Wrigley Field which is really cool. I'm not a big fan of baseball but I know I will defiantly be going to some of the games. That Stadium rocks.

Over to the right is a park called Lincoln Park which my friend Matt says is cool. I can't wait for the lazy days we can go hang in the park eat sandwiches and just people watch. Plus I guess this whole area is gay soo I'm sure there will be plenty of boy watching going on.

So tonight found a game that pretty much never ends and steals all your quarters. Not fun but im not paying.

Oh no! Now I've done it!

Well its happened. I joined the ranks of World of Warcraft. Some of my friends have been trying to get me to start playing and as I don't always have a ton of time to play games I went ahead and did it. And now I''m hooked.
The only thing is that I'm almost done with my free 10 day trial and can't pay for it till a week from this Wednesday so anyway that sucks.

On other news. Well I'm still broke but being home more is nice. I cleaned like a fool yesterday so my apt is back in good shape. Heroes was on last night and that show pretty much rocks so Mondays now with 24 make a good TV night. Other than that not much else to report. I would try to think of more things to talk about but since I have about 5 minutes till my meeting with WoodGroup I guess I better wrap this up.

The cell phone post is pretty cool. To bad I don't have a camera phone. Well I guess I am going to try and start this thing back up. With my move to Chicago several months away I figure this could be a good way to chart my progress as well as give friends an idea whats going on in my life. I'm not really sure about this whole blogging thing cause really who cares what's going on in my life. But if anything it will be more for me as a journal than anything else. Well guess that's all I have to say. Later
